3D Virtual Tours
I am a Matterport Service Partner and can scan a property and quickly deliver a fully immersive virtual reality 3D tour. These tours can have additional links embedded that can take the visitor to externally hosted information such as videos, stills, online sales and e-commerce facilities.
The tours I have made have been used for a variety of purposes, virtual open days for schools, recording historical information during restoration projects, raising the online profile of a distillery and restaurant, promoting house sales, to help save time and money by giving architects a model of an existing property which they can take measurements from rather than having to revisit the site and as part of a move to virtual online retail sales.
Potential uses could include recording fire damage, public buildings(to allow emergency services to easily see access points, potential escape routes etc…), sensitive heritage building interiors where actual public visits could potentially be damaging.

3D virtual representations
See some of the businesses which I have created 3D virtual representations for.
For The Bakers Cottages, I provided 2 separate 3D walkthroughs using Matterport. One was for the main cottage and accomodation, the other being the hot tub area beside the garden.
Ahead in Sheds were looking to see how they could maximise sales of their sheds at trade fairs without having to actually bring a shed with them. They came up with the idea of having a customised van fitted with a large tv screen and 2 pairs of Oculus virtual reality goggles. The sheds I modelled could then be seen in a way that was significantly more realistic than the normal flat print brochure photos, which I also supplied.
HBK Architects are involved with many historically important projects across Northern Ireland and wanted to record a heritage project they were working on in a before, during and after way that would be of genuine value to others, especially after the project is completed and access to the site will be for residents only.
Parts of the house date back to 1470 and are unlikely to be seen again in the foreseeable future.
